- 1 T lemon juice (opt)
cook low til brown both sides 10-15 For red apple rings add red food coloring or for red cinnamon apple rings add 1/2 cup red hot cinnamon candies to the margarine and melt. Omit sugar.
Just a touch of contrast... a different color or different texture adds so much
Add something contrasting to the recipe: A few cranberries to an apple pie... Berries to a pudding...
And yes, food coloring added to sugar or coconut works sometimes too!
