- Blooming
Onion
Slice large sweet onions almost all the
way through.
Soak in ice water over night.
Drain well, at least 15 minutes.
Remove the center.

unsweetened soy milk (with only
soybeans and water on the
label)
- Dip in seasoned
flour
- Dip in
batter
- Deep fry in Hot
oil (360) until deep golden color.
Sprinkle with salt.

1 t pepper
1 t vegetable broth powder
1/2 t poultry seasoning

1 1/4 c flour
1/2 c cornstarch
2 t paprika
2 t salt
1 t pepper
1 t vegetable broth powder
1 12 oz can warm beer

TIPS
I don't remember where I found the original
recipe but it is a good one using soymilk!
Serve with dips of choice...
Hot mustard
Sweet sour...
Works great for onion rings too, or tofu, other
vegetables, hotdogs...
