- Opening a
Coconut

- Hammer a large
clean screwdriver into each of the
"eyes"
- Drain the liquid
water.

- Place the whole
coconut in a 400 degree oven for 15-20
minutes, which helps loosen the
flesh
- Remove and cool
enough to handle.
- Wrap in a clean
towel and hammer until you can easily
remove the flesh from the
shell

Tips
Some people just whack the whole coconut
with the back of large cleaver
around the center until it cracks in
half.
