Oriental/ Asian Style
Salad Dressings

Cholesterol Free Vegan Recipe
Asian coleslaw
 
½ c mayo
3 T sugar
2 T lime juice
2 T rice vinegar
1 T soy sauce
2 t grated ginger
1 t Tabasco
½ t salt
¼ t pepper
 
Over Napa cabbage
red cabbage
carrot
scallions

 

 
Oriental Cabbage Salad
1 head cabbage, chopped fine
5 green onions (optional)
2 carrots, chopped fine
½ bell pepper chopped
½ C sliced almonds
 
Before serving toss in:
1 package Ramin noodles, (uncooked) crushed
Dressing
¾ C Oil
VEGAN soup flavoring pack from Ramin noodles (Nissin brand oriental flavor)
¼ C sugar
1 t salt
Sesame Slaw
 
6 C cabbage
3 C carrots
 
½ c rice vinegar
¼ c sesame oil
¼ c sugar
3 T ginger root
2 t soy sauce
s n p
sesame seeds

Vegan Bok Choy Salad
1 head bok choy or regular cabbage chopped.
3 green onions (optional)
1 carrot, shredded

Toss with:
Dressing:
1 c oil
½ c sugar
¼ c vinegar
2 T soy sauce
1 T sesame oil

Crunchy topping:
Melt:¼ c vegan margarine
Add:
2 T sugar
2 pkg. ramin noodles
crushed
2 T sesame seeds
3 oz sliced almonds
Stir fry until lightly browned.
(Add the nuts and seeds toward the end since they brown fastest!)

 

TIPS
The topping and dressing is great on regular lettuce too!
This recipe makes extra dressing and topping so
only use enough of the dressing and crunchy topping that you need.
