Cholesterol Free Vegan Recipe

 
 Mustard Pineapple sauce
 
½ c Dijon mustard
2 T brown sugar
2 T pineapple juice
¼ t crushed red pepper flakes

Simmer 5 minutes

Pineapple Mustard sauce 2
 
1/2 C crushed pineapple
3/4 C brown sugar
1 t prepared mustard
1/4 t ground cloves

Simmer 5 minutes

Traditional Hot Wings sauce
 
1/4 C vegan margarine
½ C hot sauce
1 T brown sugar
2 t vinegar
 
 

 

 

Mustard sauce
Cook til heated
1/2 C dijan mustard
3 T cider vinegar
6 T brown sugar
1/8 t cayanne
1/8 t pepper
1 T oil

Apple mustard dipping sauce
Mix together
1 T dry mustard
1 T dijan mustard
2 C applesauce

Peach Sauce
Cook gently until peaches are tender
2 T oil
1 T peach jam
1/4 t cayanne
2 T wine vinegar
1/2 t salt
3 peaches sliced

Sweet n Spicy bourbon mustard
1/4 C grainy mustard
3 T agave
2 T bourbon
1/2 t hot sauce more or less.....

Reduced Balsamic

1 C balsamic vinegar
2 t sugar
2 T water
Boil then simmer 25 minutes
Should have around 1/3 C
Try on cooked Vegis, or even fresh strawberries... sandwiches
Sweet ginger
 
1/2 C agave
1/2 C H2O
1/4 C plum jam
1/4 C soy sauce
4 oz fresh ginger root
2 t cornstarch
Heat til thick

Hot n sweet dipping sauce
 
1 C apricot jam
1/3 C vinegar
2 T soy sauce
1/2 t crushed red pepper

Soy ginger
 
1/4 c soy sauce
1/4 c water
1/4 c rice vinegar
1 T sugar
boil remove add
scallion
2 t ginger
1/2 t sesame oil
1/2 t chili oil

Sweet Hot dipping sauce

 

1/2 C vinegar

5 T brown sugar

2 garlic

1/4 c soy sauce

2 t hot sauce

Sherry soy dipping sauce
½ C broth
1 T sherry
1 T soy sauce
1 t lemon juice
1 t sugar
1 t sesame oil
2 green onions

Apricot dijan
 
1/3 C dijan
3 T apricot jam
1 t terragon
1 T soy sauce
1 T agave

Agave/Honey Mustard merinade
 
1/2 C olive oil
1/4 C agave
1/4 C dijan mustard
4 garlic
1/2 t pepper
1/2 salt

Apricot orange
1 orange zest and slice
1 ½ C apricot jam
½ C OJ
¼ C water
2 T wine vinegar
3 T cognac
1 t salt

Orange chili sauce
¼ C Orange juice
¼ C chili sauce
1 T sugar
2 T soy sauce
1 T oil
½ t chili powder
¼ t garlic powder

Apricot Vinegar sauce
1 onion
1 C broth
1 C wine
1 C dried apricots
½ t thyme
2 T balsamic
2 t agave

Sweet n sour apricot sauce
1 16 oz can apricots
3 T ginger root
3 garlics
¾ t ginger powder
½ t cinnamon
¼ t allspice
¼ t anise
1/8 t cloves
¼ C vinegar
½ C soy sauce
1/3 C sugar
1/3 C bean sauce
1 C ketchup
1 C c hoisin

Miso Sauce
 
1/4 C miso
2 green onions
2 T lemon ind
1 T lime
1 T rice vinegar
1 T sesame oil
1 T brown sugar
dash chili oil p
1/4 C olive oil
 
1/2 C rice vinegar
1/4 C soy sauce
2 T brown sugar
1 garlic
1/2 t cr red pepper
simmer 3 minutes

Sesame sauce
2 T soy sauce
2 T sake
1 t sesame oil
1/4 t pepper
1/2 t cornstarch
heat

SWEET N SPICY SESAME SAUCE
3 T Vegan Hoisin Sauce
1 T sesame seeds
½ t red pepper flakes
1 T sesame oil
T soy sauce
½ C hot water
Mix well

Ginger soy
 
1 T ginger
1 garlic
2 T rice vinegar
1 T agave
1/2 C soy sauce
2 t sesame oil
2 T cilantro

sesame dip
 
1/4 c broth
2 T tahini
1 T PB
1 T corn syrup
1 T ginger root
2 t soysauce
1 T rice vinegar

Ginger soy 2
 
1/4 C soy sauce
3/4 C H2O
3 T sugar
3 T vinegar
1 T ginger root

Spicy Ginger Sesame dip
1 T sesame oil
1 T water
1 T rice wine vinegar
1 T fresh ginger root
1 garlic
1 t red pepper flakes
½ t salt

Hawaiian
1 C pineapple juice
2 T soy sauce
1 garlic
½ t ginger
1 t sesame oil
pepper
Boil then thicken w/
2 t cornstarch
½ C water
Top w/2 T chopped macadamia nuts

Hawaiian Sauce
 
½ c sugar
½ C water
½ C soy sauce
¼ C pineapple juice
2 T oil
1 t gingerroot
½ t garlic

Orange sauce
 
1 T orange peel
1 C OJ1 C white wine
3 T agave
1 T ginger root
1 T oil
¼ c broth
1 T soy sauce

Orange tofu Duck
Dissolove/ boil amber color
brush sides with wet pastry brush
¼ C sugar
2 T water
Add:
2 T sherry vinegar
1 ½ C orange juice
2 shallots
Reduce to ½ C around 15 minutes
Add:
1 ½ C broth
4 sliced oranges
Boil/reduce to ¾ C

Garlic rosemary sauce/marinade
1 T oil
2 t lemon zest
2 T lemon juice
3 garlic
2 T rosemary
1 t salt
1 t pepper

Orange gravy
3 C broth
1 T rosemary
5 T oj concentrate
heat and thicken w cornstarch in water

Hot and sour plum Sauce
Mix: 12 oz jar plum jam
1/3 C wine vinegar
1 t vegi broth powder
½ t ginger powder
½ t crushed red pepper
1 clove minced garlic
Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat simmer 2 minutes
 
Mix: 2 t water and 1 t cornstarch
Stir into simmering plum mixture. Stir until thickened. Chill.

Easy sweet Sauce
Heat til dissolved
¼ c water
¼ c sugar
remove add:
½ c rice vinegar
¾ t salt
½ t crushed red pepper

Easy Asian Soy dipping sauce
Soy Sauce
Lime juice
garlic
and ginger

Easy Dipping sauces
 
1 ¼ C water
2 T cornstarch
1/3 c soy sauce
1/3 C corn syrup
¼ t crushed red pepper

Dipping sauce
1 T soy sauce
2 t vinegar
1 t sesame oil
1 t ginger

Dipping sauce
1/3 c soy sauce
1 grn onion
2 t rice vinegar
2 t sesame oil

Garlic cashew sauce
Process fine:
¼ c cashews
1 garlic
1 T lemon juice
¼ C water
slowly add ½ c olive oil until thick
 

 

Short Ribs Sauce
2 onions
½ C wine
½ C chili sauce
3 T vinegar
1 t Worcestershire
½ t dry mustard
½ t chili powder
Spiced Citris dipping sauce
1 C olive oil
¾ C lime juice
¾ C orange juice
½ C cilantro
8 cloves garlic minced
1 T grated orange peel
1 T oregano
1 T cumin
1 ½ T salt
1 ½ t pepper
Reduce

Garlic sauce

sauté in 3 T oil
3 garlics
1 inch ginger
Add:
1 C water
1 T cornstarch
3 T soy sauce
1 T vinegar
1 T scotch
2 t sugar
1/8 t salt


TIPS:

Sauces and Dips are best when heated and reduced a little

Serve as dips or fondue Sauce

Great for Chickeny Nuggets
Or Drizzle over cubed or steaked tofu or seitan, vegis...

Bake 350 30 minutes, more or less
