- 3 sweet onions
sliced very thin
- 2 T
oil
- 2 T vegan
margarine
- ½ C
sherry
- 2 T flour
- 3 C
water
- 2 T Vegetable
broth powder (Frontier Brand, beefy
broth)
- 1 Bay leaf
- ½ t
thyme
- ½ t
salt

- Cook onions in
oil and margarine
on low for 30 minutes, adding sherry
every few minutes until reduced
completely.
- Stir in
flour.
- Add remaining
- Heat
through.
