Sage Stuffing

Cholesterol Free Vegan Recipe

Slow Sage Stuffing
Saute:
¾ c vegan margarine
1 chopped onion
1 ½ c chopped celery
¼ c fresh parsley
Add:
1 T sage
12 c dry bread cubes
2 t salt
½ t pepper
1 t thyme
½ t marjoram
½ t nutmeg (optional)
1 c vegetable broth
1 c water
Bake several hours in casserole, medium oven.

 

Sage Stuffing TIPS
You can add things like nuts, apples, raisins, etc...
You can cheat and cook it on the stove top in about half hour,
but the longer it cooks the better the flavor...
