BISQUICK mix recipe
- Homemade Bisquick
- 10 c flour
- 1/3 c bp
- ΒΌ c sugar
- 1 T salt
- 2 c vegan shortening like crisco or a high fat vegan butter or margarine.

Tips and ideas:
- Use in any Bisquick recipe.
- Substitute plain unsweetened soymilk (with ONLY soybeans and water on the label) in place of milk.
- If cake or bread recipe calls for egg, You can use a store bought egg substitute or, I usually use 1 T ground flax seed, 1 T oil plus 2 T water or soymilk, in place of 1 egg. Mix and sit for 15 minutes. If more than 1 egg in a cake/ bread recipe add 1 T cornstarch,
- or try 1/2 a banana, or 1/4 C applesauce.. 1/4 c soft tofu, or other suggestions
- I adjust to the recipe... If it has more than 2 eggs, it might not rise as much, but add a little 1/2 t baking powder, 1 T vinegar, and 1 T water per egg.
- If you don't want the flax seeds, say in a smooth batter white bread or cake, then use something else....
