Classic Homemade Chocolate Syrup
Chocolate Syrup
- 1/2 Cup Cocoa
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1 Cup Water
- dash Salt
- 1 1/2 t cornstarch
- Mix all in small sauce pan
- Bring to a boil
- Boil for 1 minute.
- Remove from heat
- Add 1 t vanilla.
- Store in refrigerator.

Tips and ideas:
- Substitute Mint flavor or Almond etc.. for the vanilla
- Great for making Chocolate Milk (non dairy of course)
- or on Desserts/vegan Icecreams...
- A dipper sauce for Fondues/Bananas/Waffles/Strawberries
