Traditional Cranberry Sauce
- In large saucepan:
- 12 oz pkg cranberries
- 1 1/2 C water
- 1 1/2 C sugar
- Boil then simmer til berries pop, about 5 minutes
Tri Cranberry sauce
- In saucepan over med heat
- 12 oz fresh cranberries
- 1 C cranberry juice concentrate
- 1/2 C dried cranberries
- 1/3 C sugar
- Cook until cranberries pop: 10-15 minutes
- Remove from heat. Add:
- 1/4 C orange juice
- 1/4 C orange marmalade
- 2 t orange peel
- 1/4 t allspice (optional)
Cranberry sauce with wine
- In saucepan over med heat
- 3 C fresh cranberries
- 1 1/2 C sugar
- 1 1/2 C sweet red wine
- Cook until berries pop , 10 minutes +-
- Mix 1/4 C cold water
- with 1 1/2 T cornstarch
- Stir into hot berries, bring to boil to thicken.
Raw Cranberry orange relish
- Cut 1 whole orange
- 1 12 oz pkg cranberries
- 1 1/4 C sugar.
- Process or blender til ground
