Cranberry sauces


Traditional and new Cranberry sauce recipes

Tri Cranberry sauce

  • In saucepan over med heat
  • 12 oz fresh cranberries
  • 1 C cranberry juice concentrate
  • 1/2 C dried cranberries
  • 1/3 C sugar
  • Cook until cranberries pop: 10-15 minutes
  • Remove from heat. Add:
  • 1/4 C orange juice
  • 1/4 C orange marmalade
  • 2 t orange peel
  • 1/4 t allspice (optional)

Cranberry sauce with wine

  • In saucepan over med heat
  • 3 C fresh cranberries
  • 1 1/2 C sugar
  • 1 1/2 C sweet red wine
  • Cook until berries pop , 10 minutes +-
  • Mix 1/4 C cold water
  • with 1 1/2 T cornstarch
  • Stir into hot berries, bring to boil to thicken.
