Fruit based Sauces
Recipes.
Easy Hot n sweet apricot dipping sauce
- 1 C apricot jam
- 1/3 C vinegar
- 2 T soy sauce
- 1/2 t crushed red pepper
Apricot orange
- 1 orange zest and slice
- 1 ½ C apricot jam
- ½ C OJ
- ¼ C water
- 2 T wine vinegar
- 3 T cognac or wine
- 1 t salt
Maple Cherry Sauce
- mix and heat until slightly thickened
- 1/3 C maple syrup
- 1/4 c red wine vinegar
- 1 T soy sauce
- 2 t cornstarch
- 1/2 t pepper
- 1/2 t thyme
- add and heat til syrupy, 5-8 minutes more
- 1 # frozen cherries
- add salt and pepper to taste
Hawaiian Sauce
- 1 C pineapple juice
- 2 T soy sauce
- 1 garlic
- ½ t ginger
- 1 t sesame oil
- pepper
- Boil then thicken w/
- 2 t cornstarch
- ½ C water
- Top w/2 T chopped macadamia nuts
Easy Pineapple Sauce
- ½ c sugar
- ½ C water
- ½ C soy sauce
- ¼ C pineapple juice
- 2 T oil
- 1 t gingerroot
- ½ t garlic
Peach Sauce
- Cook gently until peaches are tender
- 2 T oil
- 1 T peach jam
- 1/4 t cayanne
- 2 T wine vinegar
- 1/2 t salt
- 3 peaches sliced
- Puree if wanting smooth
Apricot dijan

- 1/3 C dijan
- 3 T apricot jam
- 1 t terragon
- 1 T soy sauce
- 1 T agave
Apricot Vinegar sauce
- Boil/simmer until apricots are soft. 30-45 min.
- 1 onion
- 1 C broth
- 1 C wine
- 1 C chopped dried apricots
- ½ t thyme
- 2 T balsamic
- 2 t agave
Hot and sour plum Sauce
- Mix: 12 oz jar plum jam
- 1/3 C wine vinegar
- 1 t vegi broth powder
- ½ t ginger powder
- ½ t crushed red pepper
- 1 clove minced garlic
- Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat simmer 2 minutes
- Mix: 2 t water and 1 t cornstarch
- Stir into simmering plum mixture. Stir until thickened. Chill.
Sweet ginger plum
- 1/2 C agave
- 1/2 C H2O
- 1/4 C plum jam
- 1/4 C soy sauce
- 4 oz fresh ginger root
- 2 t cornstarch
- Heat til thick
