Cholesterol Free Vegan Recipe

Cholesterol free Vegan Gravy
Cook gently:
¼ c flour
¼ c margarine
Add 1 ½ c soymilk (with ONLY soybeans and water on label) OR use water.
2 T soysauce
1-2 T vegetarian broth powder (I like Frontier Brand Beefy Broth)
1 teaspoon Braggs or browning liquid
1 teaspoon onion powder (optional)
1/2 t sage (optional)
salt and pepper to taste
Cook and stir until thickened.

Vegan Gravy 2

mix:1 T cornstarch
2 T soysauce

½ t poultry seasoning

2 C H20

Heat until slightly thickened.
Stir in:

¼ C tahini

Gravy is great on mashed pototoes or stuffing, of course.
Stir some mushrooms into gravy.
Add vegi sausage or burger and serve as biscuits and gravy for breakfast.
Try adding Garlic or other spices.
Add more margarine for richer flavor...
