ONION Soup
- 1-3 sweet onions
sliced very thin
- 2 T
oil
- 2 T vegan
margarine
- 1 C sherry
- 2 T flour
- 3 C
water
- 2 T Vegetable
broth powder (Frontier Brand, beefy
broth)
- 1 Bay leaf
- ½ t
thyme
- ½ t
salt
1 t rosemary
- 1 t
basil
- pepper
- Vegan
Worcestershire to taste

- Cook onions in
oil and margarine
Start on high for 2 minutes then turn
low for 30 minutes, adding sherry every
few minutes until reduced completely,
and onions caramelized
- Stir in
flour.
- Add remaining
- Heat
through.

Onion Variation
- Slice onions
very fine.
- Drizzle with
olive oil salt and a little
wine.
- Bake in 425 oven
about 1 hour
